However, with this device, it is not possible to know what kind of failure has occurred in the elevator, or what kind of failures have occurred in the elevator in the past. In addition, 1 per elevator
This system requires two transmitting devices and a telephone device, and not only does it not provide a sufficient reporting function, but it is also expensive.

This invention improves the above-mentioned problem by selecting one of the plurality of fault signals issued for each elevator.
By reporting this failure signal and building number to a monitoring center through a telephone line and displaying it, failures of many elevators can be transmitted with one telephone device and transmitting device, making it possible to construct an elevator at low cost. The purpose is to provide a remote monitoring device.

As explained above, in this invention, a failure in an elevator installed in a building is detected, a failure signal is generated, this is converted into a serial signal, the number of the building is output, and this is sent to the iM telephone line. Since the information is transmitted to the monitoring center, received and displayed, the radio waves of a large number of elevators can be transmitted using one telephone device and one transmitting device, and can be constructed at low cost.
