ワークの両側面の被溶接個所を溶接する溶接装置であっ
て、被溶接個所の形状に合わせて成形した１対のバック
電極、並びにこの１対のバック電極を同時に被溶接個所
の裏側に押し当てた状態で固定できる伸縮自在の開閉手
段を設けたバック電極装置と、前記バック電極の形状に
沿って表側から被溶接個所の形状に追従できをる溶接ガ
