Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain an inexpensive load device, by joining elastically a rotatable friction plate, which is connected to the other end of a torque meter, and an unrotatable friction plate, whose rotation is stopped, to apply a load to a motor. CONSTITUTION:Frames 2, 3, and 4 are fixed to a base 1. A torque scale 7 corresponding to a torque mark 6 of a torque meter 5 is attached to the base 1. A connecting part 8 is provided in one end of the torque meter 5. The connecting part 8 consists of a shaft 11, which is connected to the torque meter 5 by a joint collar 9 and is held on the frame 2 through a bearing 10, and a universal joint 12. An unrotatable friction plate 16 and a rotatable friction plate 17 are provided which have holes through which the shaft 14 passes, and discs 18 having a high frictional resistance are stuck to faces of plates 16 and 17 facing each other. The shaft 14 is provided with a spring 22, which charges the rotatable friction plate 17 to the right, and a collar 23 which sets pressure variably.
