Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain blast material capable of removing fine burrs at a corner and reducing burr-removing time by mixing fine grain material larger in specific gravity and better in wear resistance than nylon with nylon. CONSTITUTION:At least one of fine grain materials such as alumina, ceramics, glass or carborundum, etc. that have a grain diameter of 50-100mum is added and mixed at a volmetric ratio of 10-50% to the nylon pellet. This mixture is heated and melted in a wire injection molding machine to be extruded into a fixed diameter wire and this wire is cooled and cut by a rotary cutter to the length nearly equal to the wire diameter to make blast material.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a projection material made of cut nylon wire is projected onto the surface of a plastic molded product, a rubber molded product, or the like to be treated using a projection device to clean and remove particles generated from the surface to be treated. However, since the projection material made from cut nylon wire has a low ratio 111, the stall due to air resistance is large, and in order to ensure enough projection energy, the initial velocity must be increased or materials with large particle diameters must be used. However, the former method had problems from the viewpoint of energy saving, and the latter method had problems such as it took a long time to remove the dust and the dust remained.

Examples of the present invention will be described below. At least one particulate material of alumina, ceramic, glass, or carborundum having a particle size of 50 to 100 μ is added to the nylon pellet, and the content of the particulate material is 10% by volume relative to the nylon pellet. ~50%
A mixture of nylon pellets and the particulate material is produced by adding and mixing the nylon pellets so that the mixture is heated and melted using an injection molding machine for wire rods, and extruded into a wire rod of a constant diameter. Next, after cooling this wire rod, it is sent to a cutting process and is cut into a length approximately equal to the wire diameter using a rotating cutter to obtain a projection material.

In this way, the projectile material of the present invention mixes nylon with powder-like particulate matter that has a higher specific gravity than nylon and has excellent abrasion resistance, so it can also remove fine particles at corners that were previously left behind. As well as being able to remove Paris I
In addition, this projection material can be applied to surface treatment of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and brass, which do not like the adhesion of iron, as well as resin plate materials and wire materials. It has the effect of being able to be used for matte processing, etc., and its contribution to the persimmon industry is significant.
