Claims (1)
にステアリングコラムを挿入支持すると共に、開口両端
部をボルトにより車体部に取付けるようになしたステア
リングコラムサポートブラケットにおいて、このステア
リングコラムサポートブラケットを車体部にボルトによ
り取付けるボルト取付面を前記■字形状の開口両端部か
ら相互に近接する方向に一体的に延設して形成し、車体
部へのホルト取付位置を■字形状の両側部間に位置せし
めると共に、前記■字形状頂部に二の■字形状頂部から
ステアリングコラムに向けて延在するステアリングコラ
ム支持部材を取付け、このステアリングコラム支持部材
にステアリングコラムを軸方向に一体的移動可能に支持
せしめ、ステアリングコラムが軸方向移動したときステ
アリングコラム支持部材が■字形状頂部との接合面で屈
曲塑性変形して、エネルギを吸収するようにしたことを
特徴とするステアリングコラムサポートブラケット。
