Abstract

PURPOSE:To separate transfer paper exactly without being wound around a photosensitive body in case of a possible separating current setting error, abnormal sail of transfer paper, and double feed, by providing a paired unit of 2 main and auxiliary Mylars. CONSTITUTION:An air blow-out part 13 is a case body to blow out air from a blow-out port 22 using a slit at the tip. A supporting plate 23 is provided as one body with the blow-out part 13 or by being fixed, and a main Mylar 24 is fixed by a fitting plate 25. The main Mylar 24 is held in almost the same plane with the rear surface of the blow-out port 22, and to the upper circumference of the blow-out port 22, an auxiliary Mylar 26 is held fixed by a fitting plate 27. Width of the auxiliary Mylar 26 is same as width of the blow-out port 22, and width extending to the blow-out part 13 and the supporting plate 23 is about 2/3 of width of a photosensitive drum 1. As for the auxiliary Mylar 26, a small ''Mylar '' having small width is adhered to fix to the tip.

In a copying machine that uses a photoreceptor, in order to print the image on the photoreceptor onto paper, a process of temporarily bringing the photoreceptor and photosensitive paper into contact is necessary, and at the stage when the image is formed on the transfer paper, There is a need to peel off the transfer paper from the photoreceptor. The process of peeling off the transfer paper from the photoreceptor is called a separation process, and there are two main methods for this separation: One method is to provide an unexposed area called a separation width on the side of the transfer paper in advance for separation and forcibly perform mechanical separation at this area.
The other method is an electrostatic air separation method that uses alternating current and air blowing to separate the particles. According to the former method, the separation performance itself is more reliable than the latter, but since there is an unexposed portion, an image is not always captured in that portion and the image is always in a state of image loss. Although the latter method does not have these drawbacks and allows images to be copied onto the entire transfer paper, the separation performance is somewhat unstable compared to the former method. In other words, it is difficult to set the separation current because it fluctuates greatly depending on the ambient temperature and humidity, and the separation function is greatly affected by the thickness of the paper and the direction of curl. This is the time when paper was wrapped around the photoreceptor.

The purpose of the present invention is to prevent the transfer paper from wrapping around the photoreceptor in the case of an error in setting the separation current, abnormal curling of the transfer paper, or double feeding in this electrostatic-air separation method. ,
It is to provide an auxiliary mechanism for reliable separation.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIG. 1st
The figure is a @ side view of the electronic copying machine. The photosensitive drum / having a photoconductive insulator layered on its outer periphery is supported by the machine frame so as to rotate in the counterclockwise direction shown by the arrow during copying. Each device is arranged to perform the following. Photosensitive drum uniformly charged by a charger
The original on the manuscript table J is scanned by the scanning light source. The scanned light image is reflected by a fixed mirror S, transmitted through a lens 6 that moves at -9 times the speed of the light source, reflected by a mirror, and irradiated through the window of the optical system onto the photosensitive drum. An electrostatic latent image is formed, and toner is applied with developer SL to make the latent image visible.

The transfer paper discharged from the paper feed st is guided through several rolls to a transfer section where the transfer electrode l/ is located, where the image on the photoreceptor is transferred, and then it faces the photoreceptor drum l of /J. A Suita section is installed opposite the current generated by the separation electrode and the photosensitive drum, and air is blown out between the transfer paper and the photosensitive drum.
It is separated from the photoreceptor drum/41 by the air from j, and is discharged to the outside of the machine through the rear transport ill/41 and the fixing section IS. - The photosensitive drum l is neutralized by the removing electrode 14, residual toner is scraped off by the cleaning blade 1g, and the eraser l! repeat the following copying process.

In most copy operations, 11':4 is completed through the normal process just described. However, as mentioned above, there are slight deviations in the setting values due to the environmental dependence of the separation current, large fluctuations in the environment (temperature and humidity), abnormalities in the transfer paper, etc.
If paper curl, double feeding at the paper feeding section, etc. occur, stable separation performance cannot be expected with the above-mentioned separation mechanism alone. In other words, as shown in Fig. 1, which is a partially enlarged view of Fig. 1, the transfer #IO is wrapped around the photoreceptor l and does not come off even though the 1-separation current and ~air blowing are working, and the paper is not released. Jamming may occur.1 Here, I is a detection mechanism that detects wrapping and stops the drive system of the machine.

FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the external appearance of the separating mylar bonded to the air blowing part/J, and FIG. The air blowing section /, 3 is a box body into which air is fed through a hose (not shown), and the blowing section is box-shaped, and air is blown out from the blowing loco λ of a slit whose tip is arranged in the axial direction of the photosensitive drum l. . A support plate 3 is integrally or fixedly provided with the air outlet 13 from below the box outlet of the air outlet/J on the side of the air outlet 3. Da is the mounting board! It is held in place by gluing or screwing. In other words, the main Mylar 2 da is substantially flush with the lower surface of the air outlet 22 . Air outlet of air blowing section 13 -

The width of the auxiliary Mylar 24 is almost the same as the width of the air outlet J2, and the width including the air outlet s13 and the support plate J is about two-thirds of the width of the photosensitive drum l. On the secondary Mylar roller, a small Mylar Jt with a small width is adhesively fixed to the tip of the secondary Mylar 6, curved convexly toward the secondary Mylar 24 at the front end of the blowing roller λ, and fixed to the lower edge of the blowing outlet by 1 itr. .

The main Mylar body has a seven-plate shape, but the secondary Mylar body has a small Mylar Xt for a paper guide on the backing, as mentioned above. Small Mylarko T is jliill
The reason why it is attached only is because there is an air blowing low so that the air blowing is not obstructed. When installed, as shown in Figure 1, the tips of the main Mylar roller and the secondary Mylar roller are lightly pressed against the outer periphery of the photosensitive drum 1.

Next, the specific operation of the separation mechanism of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7. FIG. 7 shows a state in which the transfer paper 10 is completely separated. At this time, the leading edge of the transfer paper 10 on the open Mylar 26 side advances along the guide of the small Mylar roller g attached to the second Mylar roller. If there were no small Mylar Jt, there would be a great risk that a part of the transfer paper 10 would hit the edge of the air outlet 2- and the one-separation effect would be lost.

First, in the case of only main Mylar ginseng, separation at the main Mylar ginseng part is reliable, but other parts hit the blowing part and the separation effect is lost. Further, in the case of only a secondary Mylar group, there is a problem with the approach angle of the transfer paper at the contact portion with the Mylar, and separation hardly occurs. That is,
The air blowing force presses the transfer paper IO against the photosensitive drum.

If you install the main and sub mylar rollers according to 9, you can install the main and sub mylar in the most suitable position. In addition, by rounding the edges of the main Mylar body and the secondary Mylar body, it becomes easy to take the photosensitive drum in and out, and there is no damage to the edges. Furthermore, instead of Mylar, it is also possible to use a film that does not damage the photoreceptor, such as a Teflon resin film.

In order to prove that this device is clearly effective in an actual machine, we removed the separation current and confirmed it. As a result, even though all the pieces were wrapped without this Mylar separation mechanism, after the Mylar separation mechanism was installed, there was no wrapping at all. So everything was separated with mylar.
