Abstract

PURPOSE:To completely execute destaticization, by placing a guide member which prepared by stretching a conductive flocked wire provided with a conductive fiber on the surface of a conductive wire, in a carrying path of a charged sheet member of a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:Plural conductive flocked wires 17 are wound and placed along the advancing direction of copying paper 8, and these wires 17 are grounded or biased to specified potential. When the charged copying paper 8 is carried to a fixation device 9 which has placed such a conductive flocked wire 17 as a guide wire, and approaches the vicinity of the wire 17 or contacts with it, discharge and destaticization are executed between the copying paper 8 and the tip part of a conductive fiber 16 on the surface of the wire 17, and the copying paper is destaticized almost completely.

However, the static elimination effect of the static elimination brush alone in the conventional device configured in this way is not complete, and even after the copy paper, which is easily charged, passes through the static elimination brush and is ejected from the machine, the number of (2 to 10 KV) is maintained in a charged state. Moreover, even if the fuser guide wire shown in FIG. 1 and the guide plate shown in FIG. With copy paper, there is no needle-like contact, but surface or linear contact, so the static charge cannot be removed, and there is a drawback that the copy paper is not stored in the output tray in an orderly manner. Next, the present invention will be described in detail based on examples. Third
4 and 4 show conductive flocked wires used in the static eliminator according to the present invention, and the wires shown in FIG.
---A conductive flocked wire 17 is formed by simultaneously twisting a large number of conductive fibers 16 made of carbon fiber or the like between them so that the tips of the fibers 16 protrude from the surface of the stranded wire 150. This is what I did. In the wire shown in FIG. 4, a conductive flocked wire 17 is constructed by attaching a large number of conductive fibers 16 made of carbon fiber or the like to the surface of a single conductive wire 18. In both of the conductive flocked wires 17 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the conductive fibers 16 are flocked at an angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the wire to guide copy paper, etc. Figures 5 (A) and 5 (B) show an embodiment of the static eliminator using a guide wire according to the present invention. A plurality of conductive flocked wires 17 configured as shown in the figure are wound in place of the lower guide wire 1 in FIG. 1 along the traveling direction of the copy paper 8. It can be grounded or biased to a specific potential. In this way, conductive flocked wire 1
A charged copy paper 8 is conveyed to a fuser 9 in which a wire 17 is disposed as a guide wire, and when it approaches or comes into contact with the wire 17, the surfaces of the copy paper 8 and the conductive flocked wire 17 are Conductive fibers 16 provided
The copy paper 8 is discharged and neutralized by the discharging tip, and is further neutralized again by the static eliminating brush 7 conventionally provided at the discharge port of the copying machine main body 6, so that the copy paper 8 is almost completely neutralized.

As described above in detail based on the embodiments, according to the present invention, a large number of conductive fibers are provided on the surface of a conductive wire in the conveyance path of a charged sheet member such as copy paper in a copying machine or the like. A static eliminator for a copying machine, etc. is constructed by stretching a conductive flocked wire and arranging a guide member that is biased to a specific potential when connected to the ground, so that it can eliminate static electricity from charged sheet members such as charged copy paper. This is promoted inside the machine such as a copying machine, and the static electricity is almost completely eliminated. Therefore, it is easy to store copy paper etc. in the output tray. Since it is provided so as to be inclined in the traveling direction of the charged sheet member such as copy paper, it is possible to obtain effects such as being able to eliminate static electricity without hindering the progress of the charged sheet member such as copy paper.
