Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain efficiently a molded article having a film on the surface by a method wherein paint film is provided on the internal surface of a concave force, a preform of the desired form is inserted into the concave force through a surface mat, then resin is injected and pressure is applied in the concave force. CONSTITUTION:The external surface of a preform 1 obtained by forming glass fibers in a desired shape is covered with a surface mat 2 and inserted into a concave force 3 on which surface coating material is sprayed in advance and paint film is formed. Then, liquid resin is injected into the force 3, compressed air is supplied from a pipe 51 to expand a pressure rubber bag 50 and to push the preform 1 onto the internal surface of the force 3. By this the preform 1 is formed so that it goes along the internal surface of the force 3, resin is permeated into the preform 1 and the surface mat 2 to obtain the object synthetic resin formed article having a smooth paint film on the surface.

Conventionally, when manufacturing helmets, a preform of a predetermined shape is inserted into a mold, resin is supplied, heated, and molded under pressure. The outer surface of this molded product is then polished and painted with a primer, and then polished again. Undercoating and surface painting were done.

The reason why such a time-consuming preparation process is required before surface painting is because the underlying preform is rough, and air bubbles rise to the surface during the painting process, resulting in a smooth painted surface. Because you can't get it. Therefore, in the conventional method, the process is complicated and it takes a lot of time and effort to manufacture.

This invention was made to solve these conventional drawbacks, and aims to simplify the process by omitting the preparation step before surface painting.2 In other words, this invention A rough surface coating is formed in advance, and a preform is pressure-bonded and molded via a surface mat to form a smooth surface coating.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to figures. In FIG. 1, ``■'' is a preform made of glass fiber molded into a predetermined shape, and 2 is a surface mat made of a thin non-woven glass fiber fabric, and the outer surface of the preform 1 is covered with this surface mat 2. On the other hand, as shown in Figure 2,
A paint film 4 is formed on the inner surface of the mold 3 made of two divided pieces by spraying a surface coating paint with a spray nozzle 40. Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a preform 1 is placed inside this mold 3.
The surface mat 2 is inserted into the outer surface of the mat 2 in an overlapping manner, and then liquid resin is supplied and pressure is applied from the inside by the pressurizing means 5. That is, compressed air is sent from the pipe 51 to inflate the pressurized bag 50 made of comb, and the preform 1 is pressed onto the inner surface of the mold. As a result, the preform 1 is molded to conform to the shape of the inner surface of the mold, and the resin permeates into the preform 1 and the surface mat 2. At this time, the resin pushed upward is stopped by a slight horizontal part 31 formed at the upper end of the inner surface 30 of the mold, and is prevented from coming out upwards from that point, so that it is flowed in the circumferential direction, and the resin is spread over the entire surface by kneading. controlled as follows. The shredded preform 1 is the surface cloak 2
The surface mano l-2 absorbs the movement of the preform 1 in the surface direction during molding, so that the coating film 4 is compressed and integrated as shown in FIG. The coating film 4 and the preform 1 are firmly bonded by preventing the coating film 4 from cracking and smoothing the contact surface with the coating film 4.

Therefore, after this by shape, trimming can be carried out and parts installation can be moved to the process, and the outer surface of the molded product must be polished. As explained, in this invention, 1. A coating film for surface painting is formed in the concave Q1.1, and the outer surface Fl is inserted with a pre-formula attached with a surface mat and pressure-molded. Since the preparatory process before surface painting can be omitted, synthetic resin products such as Helmets I can be easily molded.
