Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform a switching operation between washing and drainage by clockwise and counter-clockwise rotations of a single pump by a method wherein a discharge port and a drain port are closed by a changeover valve operative at a high pressure in proportion to the flow rate of water, and by a discharge valve and an exhaust valve incorporated in the changeover valve. CONSTITUTION:When the washing operation by the titled machine is performed, a runner 5 is rotated clockwise by a motor 4 and the water pooled in a pump base 3 flows through a washing water passage 11 so that the changeover valve 7 is moved to the position shown in Fig.1.
