Conventionally, the angular cylindrical grinding machine shown in Fig. 2 was used to grind both end faces and the cylindrical part of the 7-rank part of the workpiece 1 having cylindrical parts on both sides of the flange part as shown in Fig. 1. An axially movable center-of-gravity grinding machine shown in FIGS. 5 and 4 was used. In the former case, the workpiece 1 is supported between the centers 5 and 4 as shown in FIG.
The attachment is transmitted to the workpiece 1 whose main shaft rotates 70 times. A grindstone 2 formed into an abacus bead shape is cut into the work piece 1 in the direction of its ridgeline, and the end face of the 7-rank part and the cylindrical part of the work piece 1 are ground. Next, the workpiece 1 is removed, and the cutter 5 is placed on the cylindrical part that has already been ground. 1 (D@The cutting is finished.

In this way, with a conventional angular cylindrical grinder, two steps are required to grind both end faces of the 7-rank part and the cylindrical parts on both sides.
In addition, it is necessary to grasp the workpiece again, so 7 runs 9
There was a drawback that the concentricity of the cylindrical part 9 on both sides sandwiching the part was poor.

In addition, in the case of a grinding M machine without an axially moving center of gravity, two cup grinding wheels 13 are used, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.
- One of the wheels 14 is fixed to the main whetstone shaft 12, and the other is an inner whetstone shaft 11Kiil that slides inside the main whetstone shaft in the axial direction, and these whetstones are rotated by the adjustment wheel 15. Cutting is made into the driven object 1g4 (in the direction of arrow 21 in the figure) to grind the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion of the object 1. At this time, the workpiece 1 is moved by the axial thrust of the 1111 wheel 15) in a groove that hits the stopper 14 (in the direction of the arrow 22 in the figure), so that the right end surface of the 7 run 9 section is moved by the grinding wheel 13). Grinded. Next, K, send the inner grindstone shaft 11 in the direction of arrow 25 in the figure to grind the left end face of the 7th run 9 section, and grind the 7th run 9 part of the workpiece 1.
Both end faces of the part and the cylindrical parts on both sides are ground. This method uses a cup-shaped grindstone, which has disadvantages such as large wear at the end of the grindstone that grinds the layer surface, and the need for a mechanism to feed the inner grindstone shaft in its axial direction, making the main shaft structure complicated. was there.

In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a workpiece is supported by an adjustment wheel and a support plate, and two grindstones are arranged so as to sandwich 7 runs and 9 parts of the workpiece. Each grindstone is formed into a shape in which two truncated cones are joined at their bottoms, and when each grindstone is cut in the direction of its ridgeline, both end faces of the 7279 part and both cylinder parts can be ground simultaneously. I did k. Furthermore, the workpiece may be allowed to pass between a grindstone and an adjusting wheel' which are arranged at a predetermined interval.

The present invention will now be described in accordance with one embodiment of the MK shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. A workpiece 1 having a 7-run 9 section and two cylindrical sections having the same central axis at both ends is equipped with an adjusting wheel 1 as shown in the figure.
5 and a support plate 18, and its movement is restricted by a stopper 1.6. The grindstones 25 and 26 each have a shape in which two truncated cones are joined at their bottom surfaces, and when cut in one direction along the ridge shown by the arrow in FIG. 9
are arranged so as to grind each of both end faces of the part. That is, each grinding wheel 25, 24Fi, each grinding wheel stand 27, 2
gK is mounted on a rack, and the grindstone stands 27 and 28 are each mounted on a sliding stand 29.
-50 so as to be slidable in the direction of the ridgeline of the grindstone, and the sliding tables 29 and 3o are formed so as to be able to slide on the pet 31 in parallel to the central axis of the object 1 as shown in the 6th m. In addition,
The illustrated reference numeral 52 indicates a dressing device for grinding with a grindstone.

Now, when the workpiece 1 is rotating with the adjustment wheel 150 revolutions, if the grinding wheels 25 and 26 are cut in the ridge direction, the grinding wheels 25 will move from a to b as shown in Fig. 7, which shows the grinding state of the grinding wheels.
The grindstone 26 advances from a' to b'l in the same figure, and grinds both ends of the flange portion of the workpiece 1 and the cylindrical portions on both sides. When a predetermined amount of cut is made, the grindstone 2'5) 26 is moved back and polished. At this time, when the grindstones 25 and 26 are cut into the cylindrical part of the workpiece 1 to a predetermined size, the length A from the shaft end of the workpiece 1 to the end face of the 7th flange or the width of the 7th run 9th part The positions of the grindstones 25 and 26 are set in advance so that B has the required value. Alternatively, the above-mentioned dimension A or B of the workpiece 1 being ground is kept constant, and the grindstone 25 or 22 is slid in a direction parallel to the axis of the workpiece 1 to reduce the cylindrical portion of the workpiece 10 to the required value. When grinding is completed, the above dimensions and B should be the required values (good).

The next embodiment is shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, in which the target object 1 is ground while the workpiece 1 passes between the adjustment wheel 15 and each grindstone 25026, and the desired grinding is performed. The supporting plate 18 is configured to move up and down.

At this time, the distance between the adjustment wheel 15 and the grindstones 25 and 26 is set to 5 so that the finishing dimensions of the cylindrical portion and the 7-run 9 portion of the workpiece 1 are set to predetermined values. With this configuration, each grindstone can continue grinding in a fixed state, resulting in high finishing accuracy.

According to the present invention, both end faces of the seven flange portions of the workpiece and the cylindrical portions on both sides are simultaneously ground with - times of cutting.
MiIIIK can improve machining efficiency and improve the concentricity of the cylindrical parts on both sides. Furthermore, since a grindstone having a shape in which two truncated cones are joined is used, the width of the grindstone involved in grinding the seven flange portions can be increased, and wear of the grindstone can be reduced.

Furthermore, by using separate whetstones for grinding the 7 flange part and the cylindrical part, it is possible to change the type of whetstone for grinding the 7 flange part and the grindstone for grinding the cylindrical part, which is optimal for each. It has the advantage of being able to use a sharpening stone.
