Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an insertion error and a malfunction, by detecting a recessed part of the screw hole for assembling of a cassette half, and detecting an inserting direction of the cassette half. CONSTITUTION:A microswitch 3 is fixed to a recorder body so that a plunger 4 contacts with a position of an assembling screw hole 2 of a cassette half 5. When the cassette half 5 is inserted upwardly, the plunger is depressed into the screw hole 2 by spring force of the microswitch 3, and a contact of the microswitch 3 is turned off. On the contrary, when the cassette half 5 is inserted downwardly, the contact is turned on since there is no screw hole 2. In this way, the inserting direction of the cassette half 5 can be detected by whether the microswitch 3 is on or off.
