  1. キャリッジに塔載された活字ホイールを回転し、適宜活
    字を選択し、その活字をインクリボンを介してプラテン
    に押し当て、該プラテン上の用紙に順次印字を行うプリ
    ンタにおいて、前記活字ホイールの両側に位置するよう
    に前記キャリッジに取り付けてなる、プリンタの活字ホ
    イールカバー。
