Abstract

CONSTITUTION:At a shoulder portion of a pad member consisting of a lining 20q and a holding plate 22q, a cutout 28 is provided with a predetermined width and depth from the outer peripheral edge and a predetermined thickness from the holding plate 22q, at a portion of the lining 20q, which contacts with the holding plate 22q. A gap 30 is formed between a bracket B and a caliper C so that the cutout 28 can be observed.
