[Detailed description of the invention] This invention involves transporting items prepackaged in bottles or tubes, or underwrapped soaps, etc., at regular intervals on a conveyor, and then opening them into a cylindrical shape by vacuum suction. The present invention relates to a sack feeding device for a horizontal automatic cartoning machine, which packs boxes into sacks via a suitable pushing device.

Conventionally, the sack feeding mechanism in the automatic cartoning machine described above was equipped with a guide tube for storing sacks that opened facing the conveyor and stacked the sacks vertically. It is not possible to store a large amount of sacs, and with ordinary high-speed cartoning machines, sacks have to be replenished into the guide tube every 1 to 2 minutes, which means that each machine requires human work tools at all times. A loss in labor was observed.

On the other hand, in order to cope with this, a sack supply conveyor is made to face horizontally or inclinedly at the upper end opening of the guide tube, and a supply mechanism consisting of a separate relay conveyor or roller provided at the connection part, Some methods have been adopted in which each sack falls into a guide tube and is stacked on top of another, but with this method, especially lightweight sacks may turn over as they fall through the guide tube, resulting in automatic cartoning. This was seen as an inconvenience in that it made it impossible for the machine to pack boxes.

In view of these circumstances, the present invention has been developed to provide a sack storage unit with a feeding mechanism in which the sack feeding mechanism described above is composed of a chevron plate having a hook portion at the front end and a locking member diagonally in front of the chevron plate, and the sack does not invert. By arranging the guide tube facing the guide cylinder, the problems described above have been greatly improved.

Hereinafter, the configuration will be described in more detail according to an example in which the structure is applied to packaging soap. In the figure, 1 is a machine base, 2 is provided on the machine base, and the soap a, which has been pre-wrapped in advance, is placed on the upper surface of the machine base. A soap supply conveyor comprising a plurality of recesses 2' arranged at regular intervals, or 3 a guide tube for storing sacks installed upright on a machine base, the lower end of which is connected to the soap supply conveyor. This figure shows the rear end of the cartoning conveyor 4, which is installed in parallel with the carton conveyor 2.

The above is a generally known automatic cartoning machine.Next, we will talk about the proposed sack feeding mechanism attached to the machine body. 7 is a horizontal line between the upper end opening of the guide tube 3 and the column 1' at the front end of the machine. A conveyor for transporting sacks is constructed, and a chevron-shaped plate 8 having slopes A and A' at the front and rear and a hook opening at the front end is interposed at the connection part with the guide tube 3. A locking member 9 is provided diagonally in front of the chevron plate 8.
is fixed, and a spring 1 is further attached to the end of the conveyor 7.
A presser plate 11 is attached that touches the upper edge of the sack b through the holder 0.

As shown in FIG. 2, for example, the locking member 9 has a curved portion 9' connected to its tip, so that the locking member 9 can be attached to the chevron-shaped plate 8.
The sacks b that have reached the top of the sack b are tilted forward one by one so that their upper edges are locked to the warped portion 9', and the locking means for the sack b is as described above. Any other suitable structure may be used as long as it has an effect.

In addition, 15 and 15' in the figure are attached to the top and bottom of the guide tube 3 at appropriate locations, and the sack conveyor 7 and the pusher 12 are automatically activated or activated depending on the amount of sacks loaded in the tube. The phototube detection device is stopped, and 16 indicates a product exit.

Thereafter, when the conveyor 7 and the pusher 12 are driven, each sack b whose upper edge has been aligned after passing through the holding plate 11 advances sequentially along the rear slope A of the chevron plate 8, and the chevron plate 8 When it reaches the top, only one sack at the front tilts forward, and its upper edge is locked by the warped part 9' of the locking member 9, but the next moment it is pushed by the following sack. The lower edge of the lever passes over the top of the chevron plate 8 and slides down along the front slope A' and is engaged with the front hook opening, and at the same time its upper edge passes through the curved part 9', so that the sack b turns approximately horizontally around the lower edge on the hook part and falls into the guide cylinder, and as a result, each sack does not turn over and maintains the front-back relationship as it was in the initial conveyance state. They are stacked one after another inside the guide cylinder.

When the amount of sacks b piled up in the guide cylinder reaches the position of the phototube 15 above, the sack transport conveyor 7 and pusher 12 are immediately stopped automatically by the action of the detection mechanism. , the supply of sacks will be temporarily suspended.

On the other hand, the sacks b inside the guide tube 3 are sequentially taken out from the lower end opening, and the amount stored in the tube decreases, causing the lower phototube 15' to be removed.
When the position is reached, the conveyor 7 and pusher 12 are started again by the detection mechanism, and the sacks b are replenished into the guide cylinder as described above.

As described above, according to the present device, it is possible to store a large amount of sacks, and the time interval for replenishing the sacks can be greatly extended. Since it can be stacked accurately in the guide cylinder without causing any inversion, it does not interfere with the operation of the automatic carton machine and greatly improves the efficiency of packaging soap, medicine, toothpaste, and other items. This has a significant practical effect in making this possible.
