Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、合成樹脂管の受口部の形成方法に関するもの
である。
例えば樹脂を含浸したグラスファイバーを巻回して形成
される合成樹脂管は、直管状に形成されるのが普通であ
り、受口部を同時に形成するには種々の困難がある。
そこで予じめ直管状に形成された管体一端部に、ソケッ
トをその一端部を外嵌重合させた状態で形成して受口部
を形成する場合が多いが、この様に管体とソケットを別
々に形成するとその接合面での接着力に問題が生じ、こ
の部分で剥離する惧れがあった。
本発明はかかる欠点を解消すべく合成樹脂管において管
体とソケットとの接合力の強い受口部を形成することの
できる方法を提案するものであって、以下その一実施態
様を図面に基づいて説明する。
まぜ、本発明方法を適用すべき合成樹脂管の受口部の構
成を第1図により説明する。
この受口部1は、管体2の端部2aにソケット3の一端
部3aを外嵌重合させると共に、この管体2とソケット
3の重合部にゴムパツキンなどの弾性体4を介在させた
ものである。
かかる構成の受口部1によれば、施設時に管体2が土圧
により変形しても、前記弾性体4が介在させているため
この弾性体が変形して管体2とソケット3との接合部に
作用する剥離応力を吸収することができるのである。
かかる受口部1を形成するには、まず管体2の端部2a
にゴムパツキン4を嵌合接着した後、樹脂を含浸させた
グラスファイバーを外周に巻回してソケット3を形成す
るが、その際直管状の管体2とゴムパツキン4との間の
接合力が最も弱くこの部分に剥離が生ずる惧れがある。
本発明方法はゴムパツキン4を嵌着すべき管体端部2a
外周を締付けて縮径させた後ゴムパツキン4を嵌着し、
ソケット3を形成し、ソケット形成後締付けを解除する
ことにより管体端部の拡径付勢力によって強い接合力を
得ることを特徴とするものであり、以下第2図により詳
細に説明する。
管体2の端部2aの近傍外周を、均等加圧するためのゴ
ム輪5を介して締付は治具6により締付けて管径の1/
1000〜1/3000程度縮径させると共に、この端
部外周に接着剤を塗布する。
管体2がグラスファイバーとポリエステル樹脂とから成
るFW管の場合には、管外面が接着困難な表面性状とな
っているので、外面をグラインダー等で研磨しておくの
が望ましく、その上にエポキシ系などの熱硬化性樹脂の
接着剤を塗布する。
次に管体端部2aにゴムパツキン4を外嵌してこのゴム
パツキン4を接着するが、このゴムパツキン4はその内
径が管体2の外径よりも10%程度小さいものを用いて
引張りざみに接着すれば、接着剤とゴムパツキン4の引
張力により水密性が向上する。
また、ゴムパツキン4の接着性を良くするために、その
内外周面に塩酸処理を施すか、接着性の良いゴムを張り
付けても良い。
この様にして端部2aの外周にゴムパツキン4を嵌着し
た後、該管体端面2bにソケット形成用芯金7を当接せ
しめ、これらゴムパツキン4及び芯金7外周面に樹脂を
含浸させたグラスファイバーを巻付けることにより所定
の厚みのソケット3を形成する。
勿論熱硬化性樹脂及び接着剤を用いる場合には芯金7は
適宜手段で加熱される。
ソケット3が硬化すれば芯金7を引抜き、治具6による
締め付けを緩めて取外すことにより受口部1の形成が完
了する。
この様に管体端部2a外周を締付けて弾性的に縮径させ
た状態でソケット3を形成して、管体端部2aの弾性復
元力による拡径付勢力で、ソケット3に圧嵌させる方法
によると、熱収縮性材料から成るソケット3を用いる場
合に比べても互いに圧嵌し合う力を非常に大きくするこ
とができ、苛酷な負荷条件下でも管体2とゴムパツキン
4又はソケット3との間に強い接合力が得られ、剥離を
生ずる惧れかない。
以上の実施例の説明から明らかな様に、本発明方法によ
れば受口部を形成すべき管体端部近傍外周を締付けて縮
径させると共に前記管体の端部外周にパツキンを嵌着し
、該管体の端面にソケット形成用芯金を当接せしめ、そ
の後に前記パツキン及び芯金の外周面上に樹脂含浸グラ
スファイバーを巻付けて所定厚さの合成樹脂ソケットを
形成するので、ソケットの硬化後前記芯金を引抜き、管
体の端部近傍外周の締付けを解除すると、管体端部がそ
の拡径付勢によってソケットに圧嵌された状態で、かつ
管体が土圧により変形してもパツキンの変形により管体
とソケットとの接合部に作用する別離応力を吸収できる
状態で管体端部とソケットとが強固に接合される。
従って簡単に接合面における接合力の極めて大きな受口
部を得ることができ、従来の様に接合面で剥離を生ずる
惧れがなくなる′。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 受口部を形成すべき合成樹脂管体の端部近傍外周を
    締付けて弾性的に縮径させると共に前記管体の端部外周
    にパツキンを嵌着し、該管体の端面にソケット形成用芯
    金を尚接せしめ、その後に前記パツキン及び芯金の外周
    面上に樹脂含浸グラスファイバーを巻付けて所定厚さの
    合成樹脂ソケットを形成し、該ソケットの硬化後前記芯
    金を引抜き、管体の端部近傍外周の締付けを解除するこ
    とを特徴とする合成樹脂管の受口部形成方法。
