ンダヘッドの何れかに固定されたピストンコアとから構
成し、ピストンシェルおよびスカート部をピストンコア
外周に軸方向にスライド可能とするとともに、ピストン
コアとピストンシェルの間にシェル油室を、ピストンコ
アとスカート部との間にスカート油室を形成し、シェル
油室とスカート油室への圧油の供給回路に内燃機関の運
転条件に合せて圧油の圧力を変える加圧装置を設けると
ともに、圧油の圧力が大になったときに圧油をシェル油
室に導入する逆止弁と圧油の圧力が下がったときにシェ
ル油室の圧油を、  スカート室に流入させる切替弁を
設けたことを特徴・とする内燃機関の可変圧縮比機構。
