[Detailed explanation of the invention] This utility model relates to an electromagnetic chuck that is fixed when processing iron plates with machine tools such as milling machines.

Conventionally, when processing the front and back surfaces of a steel plate, when fixing a curved steel plate 4 as shown in Fig. 3 in a vise or by fixing it (most steel plates have curved or twisted surfaces due to melt cutting, annealing, etc.), Fix the tool 10 to the table, push the clamp 8 with the bolt 9, put the end face of the iron plate 4 down, push down both sides of the iron plate 4 and fix it on the pedestal 7, insert the jack 6 into the space in the center, and tighten the iron plate 4. Vibration of the steel plate during machining
This eliminates sag and deflection.

In this method, the shape of the iron plate 4 before fixing is fixed, so even if the surface is removed after processing, the machined surface will be a flat product, but there are many work steps when fixing the iron plate 4, which is particularly different. When there are many products with different dimensions, it is an extremely time-consuming and inefficient process, and thin steel plates cannot be fixed.

How to use it is as shown in Figure 5.
It is impossible to completely eliminate the gap by placing the sheet metal 5 on the top surface of the material and inserting it into the gap between the chuck 1 on both sides or between the chuck 1, but it is impossible to completely eliminate the gap, especially in the center part of a wide material.

When the switch 13 is turned on and the electromagnetic chuck is operated, a suction force is activated, and the iron plate 4 in which the sheet metal 5 is inserted is also attracted to the chuck 1, deforms and curves only in the gap, and is fixed to the chuck 1.

In this state, process the surface, turn off the switch 13, and turn off the iron plate 4.
When removed, the iron plate 4 returns to its original shape due to its elasticity, resulting in a curved product.

Therefore, with this electromagnetic chuck, it is almost impossible to obtain a product with excellent precision and no curvature.

This project was devised for the purpose of combining the advantages of both of the above methods, eliminating the disadvantages, and obtaining faster and more accurate products.

To explain the drawings, the electromagnetic chuck 1 is divided into a plurality of arbitrary parts each having an individual switch 13, and each chuck 1',
A groove 12 is provided between 1"y and 1".

The method of use is shown in Figure 4 (Figure A). Place the iron plate 4 on the top of the chuck, insert the sheet metal 5 into the gaps on both sides, and then attach the chuck 1", 1/// only, where the iron plate 4 is in close contact with the chuck. Switches 13 and 13" l 3/// are turned on and fixed, and in (Figure B) there is a groove 12 in the gap near the center.
Insert the jack 6 into the chuck l/ where the iron plates 4 on both sides are in close contact (which is impossible with conventional chucks),
1//// is fixed by turning on switches 13, 13' and 13"".

Therefore, the chuck does not work except where the iron plate 4 and the chuck are in close contact with each other. There is no suction in the areas where the iron plate 4 and the chuck are in close contact with each other, and the iron plate 4 is fixed in its original shape without being deformed or curved. Even if the surface is processed and removed, the processed surface will not curve or deform, making it possible to produce products with excellent precision.

Also, by using the groove 12, the following operations that were impossible with conventional chucks are possible.

1 溝12の所で、厚さの測定が出来る。1. Thickness can be measured at groove 12.
