Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable usage of single jig for products of various types and shapes, by selecting the matrix baseboard supporting mechanism and the length of a pin mountable/dismountable on said baseboard in correspondense to each supporting sections of the product. CONSTITUTION:A product or a car heater 4, for example, is provided with a positioning supporter 5 at the bottom of a resin case at the position related with a tapered hole 1 through a baseboard 2 of a zig. The baseboard 2 is provided with many tapered holes arranged in matrix and coupled through a pin 3 with the supporter. Said pin 3 is provided with a projection to be engaged with a hole in the product supporter 5 at the upper end while a tapered section to be engaged with the tapered hole 2 at the lower end, where various lengths are prepared to hold various products horizontally. Upon specification of the type of product to be assembled, the baseboard 2 and the pin 3 are coupled selectively on the basis of said information then fed to the assembling line.

あった。大きさ形状が類似した製品については、共通に
使用できるような治具が用いられることもあるが、その
範囲は極く限られている。そのため、製品の種類が増加
するに従い、そのための搬送用治具の種類も増大し、治
具の製造保管の費用もそれに伴って増大する。あるいは
、製品形状の変更、新設のたびに治具の改造新設が必要
となり、製品納期にも影響して来る。

2のテーパ孔1と係合する。製品4をベース板2上に保
持すべき高さは製品の組立て作業内容に応じて種々変化
するし、また、同一製品の多数の支持部5も製品の形状
によっては必ずしも同一平面上にはないので、製品を水
平に保持するためにはビン3としては種々の長さを有す
るものを準備しておく必要がある。各製品のそれぞれの
支持部については、固有の情報すなわち、対応するベー
ス板2のマトリックスの行列番号および選択すべきビン
3の長さが何らかの形で記録表示されることになる。
