CONSTITUTION:An outlet port 15 is disposed at the middle section of the height of a silencing means 16 so as to prevent production of resonance in an inner chamber of the silencing means 16 in the direction of its height. Further, since a discharge passage 14 is formed in a cylinder 12 and the silencing means 16 is disposed in an upper bearing 5, it is enabled to omit superfluous piping members and to reduce its size. Therefore, a rotary type enclosed compressor can be made compact.
