Conventionally manufactured melamine decorative boards and diallyl phthalate decorative boards are manufactured by impregnating impregnating paper with melamine resin, etc., and stacking this on a substrate under high temperature and high pressure conditions. Therefore, a resin impregnation step and a heating and pressurizing step are required, and the large number of steps and time required have been major problems.

Therefore, instead of the impregnation process, a method was considered in which resin was applied to the surface of the paper, dried, and then attached to the substrate using an adhesive. However, in this method, the resin applied to the surface of the paper It did not completely penetrate into the inside of the laminate, and its performance was inferior to that of decorative laminates manufactured by the immersion impregnation method.

The present invention has been made to improve the above-mentioned points. Before drying the resin applied to the surface of the paper, a release film is layered on top of it, and then the resin is placed on the substrate. By applying pressure, the resin applied to the surface penetrates into the inside of the paper and oozes out to the back side of the paper, and this is used as an adhesive to adhere to the substrate. Moreover, the resin applied is an electron beam curing resin. By using this method, a decorative board with surface performance equivalent to that of high-pressure melamine can be manufactured.

Next, as shown in Fig. 3, the paper (1) is placed with its side facing the base material (5), and the entire paper is pressurized using a pressure device such as a pressure roller (6). The electron beam curing resin (3) applied to the surface is allowed to penetrate into the inside of the paper and into the back surface. In this state, electron beams are irradiated from above the releasable film to harden the electron beam-curable resin present on the surface and inside of the paper and on the back side of the paper, thereby bonding the resin, paper, and base material. Then, by peeling off the release film, a decorative material (8) as shown in Fig. 4 is obtained.

The electron beam curable resin (3) is composed of monomers, oligomers, and prepolymers of resins such as urethane, acrylic, acrylic urethane, Epoquin acrylic, unsaturated polyester, diallyl phthalate, etc. can be used, cures in a short time by irradiating with electron beam,
Moreover, you can obtain a hard surface like high-pressure melamine decorative board.

As the film (4) having mold releasability, a polyester film, a polypropylene film, etc. are used,
Transparent or opaque does not matter. Moreover, there is no particular limitation on its thickness. Incidentally, the gloss etc. of the surface of the obtained decorative board will be the same as the surface of the film (4) having mold releasability used, so the gloss of the surface of the film on the side that comes into contact with the resin can be adjusted as desired. This makes it possible to control the surface condition of decorative materials.

As a pressure device, in addition to the pressure roller shown in the figure, a 1-wide flat roller, a Yun-Fl/Schelt-like Ichiguchi-shaku shell, etc. can be used, but from the viewpoint of productivity, it is possible to use a continuous A roller-shaped material that can be pressurized is preferred.

The resin applied to the surface of the paper forms a resin layer on the surface of the paper to ensure surface performance equivalent to high-pressure melamine decorative board.
It penetrates into the inside of the paper to improve interpaper strength and turns the paper layer into a resin, and it also seeps into the back side of the paper and acts as an adhesive to the base material, so the amount of application is limited. More is better; specifically, it is effective to apply more than the weight of the paper used.

The main reason for using a film having mold releasability is to prevent the resin from adhering to the rolls etc. since the electron beam curable resin is pressurized with a roll etc. in an uncured state.

■Using electron beam curable resin, we can obtain a decorative material with good surface performance, and unlike thermosetting resins and UV curable resins, it does not contain curing agents or sensitizers, so the storage stability of the resin is improved. Good (Example 1) A wood grain pattern was printed on a titanium paper weighing 80 g'd using multicolor gravure printing, and then an acrylic electron beam curable resin was applied to the surface at a rate of 150 g/regular roll coating. death,
Immediately cover the surface with a 50μ thick polyester film, overlap it with the plywood, and nip it with nip rolls to integrate it. Next, electron beam irradiation was performed using a scanning type electron beam irradiation device, and the polyester film was then peeled off to obtain a decorative material having coating performance comparable to that of high-pressure melamine.
