Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent more than two sheets from being tracked by the lowermost document, by stopping the leading edges of all document except lowermost one to an inverted roller. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic document feeder for a copier, a carry roller 2 and inverted rollers 11, 12 facing with said roller 2 are provided to feed a plurality of documents between them. Upon mounting a document bundle (B) from the direction (B), the leading edge will contact against the falling section 81 and stops. Upon rotation of each roller, the inverted roller 12 will rotate together with a cam 9 to move a stopper upwardly. The document bundle P will pass through the lower end of the falling section 81 of the stopper board 8 and contact against the inverted roller 12 to be blocked, but only the lowermost document will advance further through the function of the carry roller 2.

2. Description of the Related Art A method of storing a large number of sheet-like materials such as paper in a stack and taking out the sheet-like materials one by one from there has been conventionally used in a divine device. Copying machines that require such a device 4 have been known for some time, and means for taking out transfer sheets one by one from a transfer paper storage section such as a cassette have already been proposed. It has also been well known for a long time that copying machines are wiping originals that cannot be copied.
The device that was supposed to be taken out is now installed,
Genju has also made a proposal for this. However, in such cases, unlike transfer paper, which deals with stacks of new paper, the manuscript has been treated in some way or individually, so it is semi-sewn and retains its original shape like new paper. The operation of superimposing them one by one and then taking out the transfer sheets one by one is not as simple as taking out a new stack of transfer paper.

The outline of the main parts including the roller is shown in Figure 2.A conveyance roller 2 and a reversing roller 1 placed opposite thereto are arranged close to a guide plate 5 on which a document is placed and conveyed. A pair of rollers 4 and 5 for separating and transporting the original are provided on the upstream side when viewed in the direction of travel of the original, and a pair of rollers 6 and 5 are provided on the downstream side for transporting the original taken out to the copying area. It is. In order to maintain a constant pressure contact force with the conveying roller 2, the reversing roller 1 is mounted so as to be freely displaceable as shown by arrow A in the figure.

Using such a mechanism, a plurality of documents are loaded between roller pairs 1, 2, 4, and 5 in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 1 is rotated in the direction of arrow C, the lowermost original is pushed out by roller 2 in the direction of roller pair 6.7, but the upper original is given a tendency to be displaced in the opposite direction to the traveling direction of the original, and the middle part is The existing originals are also prevented from advancing due to the frictional force between the overlapping originals, and in the end, only the desired one is sent out. As shown in the figure, the roller 25 is formed into a cam shape, and its rotation creates a certain degree of disturbance between the stacked documents to separate them from each other, thereby assisting the pushing action of the roller 2. Although this mechanism can achieve the intended purpose, as mentioned above, the roller 1 is placed in the arrow position A so that it can be installed between the pair of rollers 1 and 2 at a time when loading documents. Since the document stack is disposed so that it can be displaced in the direction, the leading edge of the document bundle remains directly connected to the pair of shuffling rollers 1 and 2.
The reverse feeding action of the original by roller 1 becomes comparable to the forward feeding action of roller 2, and as a result, as shown in FIG. 1B, the document bundle is The lower few sheets are pushed out in the forward direction by the action of the roller 2, while the upper originals tend to be fed in the opposite direction due to the action of the reversing roller 1, resulting in the desired effect. There are some things I can't play. Furthermore, the friction between the documents and between the documents and each roller varies depending on the document, so in reality, the disturbance of the document can vary widely.
There was one situation.

This is basically due to the fact that the document bundle is always securely held between the reversing roller 1 and the transport roller 2, so what happens on the downstream side of the roller pair 1.2? Even if a stopper member is placed near the roller 1, the problem cannot be solved.

This invention was made in view of the above-mentioned current situation, and in a sheet-like material conveying device equipped with a conveying roller and a reversing roller installed opposite to the conveying roller, a large number of sheets accumulated between these two rollers can be removed. The former roller feeds out the sheet material in contact with the sheet material, and the latter roller prevents the other sheet material from being sent out, and when each roller stops, the accumulated sheets are prevent the displacement of shaped material,
When each roller rotates, it is configured to send out only the sheet-like material that is in contact with the former roller among the stacked sheet materials, and to bring the tips of the other sheet-like materials into contact with the latter roller to prevent the other sheet-like materials from being sent out. The aim is to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of main parts showing an embodiment of the present invention,
This shows the part corresponding to the conveyance roller 2 and reverse rotation [j-ra 1 in Fig. 1A].It is equipped with a conveyance roller 2 and reverse rotation rollers 11 and 12 arranged opposite to it, and there are a plurality of rollers between them. In this state, when a stack of originals P is loaded from the direction of arrow B as in the case of FIG. Next, when each roller is rotated, the reversing roller 12 (same as the roller 11, not shown) rotates in the direction of arrow C in FIG. Take. Although not shown in Figure 2,
Since there is of course a pair of feed rollers 4 and 5 shown in FIG.
) and is prevented from moving forward, but only the lowest document is moved further forward by the action of the conveyance roller 2 and travels toward a predetermined position in the copying machine. At this time, since the document above the document traveling forward is not subjected to the reverse action by the reversing roller 1, it does not move backward due to friction or competes with the action of the transport roller 1, unlike the previously mentioned known device. This eliminates the problem of overflowing the stack of original documents.

After sending out the documents one after another in the state shown in Fig. 4, it is necessary to bring the reversing rollers 1, 12, cam 9, stopper plate 8, etc. to the state shown in Fig. 4 again. A timing mechanism, designated 20 in FIG. 2, is disposed on the axis of FIG.

Of course, the timing mechanism may have any configuration, but the one shown in the figure includes a perforated disc 21 that rotates together with the reversing roller shaft, and a sensor 2 that detects the position of the hole in this disc.
2, and when the sensor 22 detects the hole in the disk, the stopper plate or the like takes the position shown in FIG. 5, and at this time, each part is stopped.

As explained above, according to the present invention, when a large number of originals are loaded on the original transport device, the originals are not fed easily without the bundle of originals being pinched between the reversing roller and the transport roller. In this case, the thrust by the conveyance roller acts only on the lowest document, and all other documents are only engaged with the reversing roller at their tips and no thrust in the opposite direction is applied. It is possible to reliably prevent more than one sheet of originals from moving forward together in a state where they are being pulled by the bottommost original, and since no reverse thrust is applied to the originals other than the bottommost one, the document stack will be disturbed. This also has a favorable influence on the ability to smoothly send out the documents at the bottom one after another, and overall, an excellent conveying effect can be obtained regardless of the characteristics and condition of the documents.
