Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect simply and accurately the traveling speed of a magnetic tape and to always keep a constant traveling speed of the tape with high accuracy, by connecting a speed detector to a pinch roll and a capstan which is pressed to the magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:The output terminal of a revolving speed control circuit 11 is connected to reel driving motors 3a and 3b respectively, via a changeover switch 12. When these motors 3a and 3b are driven, reel driving hubs 2a and 2b are driven. Then a magnetic tape 6 in a tape cassette 4 is driven. When the tape 6 travels, both a capstan 5 and a pinch roll 7 are driven. Then an output which is proportional to the traveling speed of the tape 6 emerges from a speed detector 9. The circuit 11 works in response to a shift between the traveling speed of the tape 6 and a prescribed level of speed. ピンチローラ7に連結された速度検出装置、1oはヘッ
ド基板8に装着された磁気ヘッドである。尚ヘッド基板
8はシャーシ1に対して前後方向に摺動可能に取付けら
れており、また速度検出装置9は第3図に示すようにリ
ール駆動用モータsa、sbの回転速度制御回路11に
接続されている。そして、回転速度制御回路11の出力
端は切換スイッチ12を介してそれぞれリール駆動用モ
ータ3a 、sbに接続されている。
