Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to render a printing hammer light, to reduce inertia efficiency and to make a movable end rigid, by a method wherein an I-shaped structure is formed from a leaf spring and an arm having a T-shaped cross area and an armature is provided to the intermediate part of the leaf spring to fixedly attach the arm. CONSTITUTION:When a current is supplied to a coil for a definite time in a direction eliminating the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 8, a printing hammer 1 is released from a core 6 and a recording body is impacted with a print wire 5 by the restoring force of a leaf spring 2 and again attracted to the core by the repelling force thereof and the attraction force of the permanent magnet 8. The movable end of the printing hammer 1 is formed into an I-shaped structure light in a wt. and high in rigidity by the leaf spring 2 and an arm 4 and one end of the arm 4 is further fixed to an armature 3 to form the stabilized I-shaped structure made strong in bending and a twist. Therefore, a contact time when a recording medium is impacted with the print wire 5 and the printing hammer 1 is repelled after printing to be attracted by and impacted to the core 6 is not prolonged.

When configuring a spring-loaded print head, not only the configuration of the magnetic circuit but also the configuration of the print hammer is an important point in achieving high speed. However, the structure of the conventional printing hammer is insufficient to cope with high speed, and this point will be explained below.

First, an example of the print head of the above type will be explained with reference to a cross-sectional view of the main part shown in FIG. 1, in which a printing handle of the present invention is attached. The printing hammer 1 has a structure in which an armature 3 and arm 4 made of a magnetic material are fixed to the movable end of a leaf spring 2 made of a magnetic material, and a print wire 5 is fixed to the tip of the arm 4. One end of the core 6 made of a magnetic material faces the armature 3 via the leaf spring 2, and is wound with a coil B. The other end of the core 6 is in contact with one magnetic pole surface of the permanent magnet 8,
A leaf spring holding member 9 made of a magnetic material is provided in contact with the other magnetic pole surface of the permanent magnet 8, and the force at the base end of the leaf spring 2 is maintained between the leaf spring holding member 9 and the yoke 10 made of a magnetic material. It is held in place and fixed with a fixing screw 11. Therefore, the printing hammer 1 has a permanent magnet 8. Leaf spring holding member, yoke 10
.. Armature 3. Leaf spring 2. With the core 6 as the main magnetic circuit, it is attracted to the core 6 by the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 8, and the leaf spring 2 is biased in the opposite direction to the impression direction. When the coil 7 is energized for a certain period of time in a direction that cancels the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet 8 in response to a printing command signal, the printing hammer 1 is released from the core 6.
The restoring force of the leaf spring 2 causes the printing wire 5 to strike a recording medium (not shown), and the repulsive force and the attractive force of the permanent magnet 8 attract the recording medium to the core 6 again.

Next, the structure of the printing hammer will be explained. 2 and 3 are perspective views showing a conventional example of a movable end portion of a printing hammer. In FIG. 2, a printed wire 25 is brazed to the apex of an isosceles triangular armature 23, and the armature 23 is spot-welded to the movable end of the leaf spring 22 by laser welding, resistance welding, or the like. Next, in FIG. 3, the printed wire 35 is brazed to one end of a thin plate-shaped arm 34, and the other end of the arm 34 is attached to the armature 3.
The first slit 33a provided at one end of the first slit 33a is fitted into the first slit 33a and then brazed. The other end of the armature 33 has a first
The plate spring 32 is fitted and brazed to the second slot 33b which is perpendicular to the slot 33a. In the case of this printing hammer, the armature 33 is directly attracted to the core.

To explain the disadvantages of the conventional printing hammer, the printing hammer shown in FIG. 2 cannot vibrate at high speed because the armature 23, which has a relatively large mass, is located at the tip of the leaf spring 22. In addition, the printing hammer in Fig. 3 has a thin arm 34.
However, since the arm 34 lacks rigidity, the contact time is long when the print wire 35 hits the recording medium and when the armature 33 hits the core (first (see figure), high-speed vibration of the printing plate is difficult.

This T-shaped arm 4 has its lower edge 4C aligned with the axis of the leaf spring 2, with the second arm 4b perpendicular to the leaf spring 2, and is fixed by brazing. That is, the arm 4 and the leaf spring 2 form a mold structure. A print wire 5 is fixed to the tip of the second arm 4b by brazing, and the end of the first arm 4a on the base end side of the printing hammer is an armature 3 having a U-shaped cross section.
The bottom surface 3a of the armature 3 is fixed to the leaf spring 2 by brazing. FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing a second embodiment, and this embodiment is similar to the first embodiment, differing only in the configuration of the arm 4. The arm 4 is formed into a T-shape by brazing an L-shaped first arm 4e and a second arm 4f whose bending directions are opposite to each other. Above 1. As shown in the second embodiment, the movable end of the printing hammer 1 constitutes a lightweight and highly rigid I-shaped structure with the leaf spring 2 and the arm 4, and one end of the arm 4 is connected to the armature 3.
The ■-shaped structure is made stable by fixing it to the surface, making it resistant to bending and torsion. Therefore, the contact time is not increased when the print wire 5 hits the recording medium or when the print hammer 1 rebounds after printing and is attracted to and collides with the core (see FIG. 1). In addition, the armature 3, which has a relatively large mass among the constituent members, is disposed in the middle of the leaf spring 2, and together with the I-shaped structure, reduces the inertia rate of the printing machine 1, making the structure suitable for high-speed printing.

Note that both the hole 4d of the arm 4 and the U-shaped cross section of the armature 3 are intended to reduce the weight of the printing hammer 1;
Of course, weight reduction is not limited to this shape.

As described above, the present invention has an I-shaped structure at the movable end of the printing hammer with a leaf spring and an arm having a T-shaped cross section, and the armature is arranged in the middle of the leaf spring to fix the arm. As a result, the weight of the printing hammer was reduced, the rate of inertia was reduced, and the movable end became highly rigid. Therefore, it enables the printing hammer to vibrate at a high level, and greatly contributes to high-speed printing of wire dot printers.
