Abstract

PURPOSE:To assuredly prevent a switch from malfunction caused by contact, stain and so on in a sheet discharge apparatus of a copier by operating a magnetic near-by switch by action of a detecting portion for directly detecting jamming of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet 8 is guided by a guide 9 and passed between a paper discharge roller 10 and a driven roller 11 to be discharged on a tray 20. If jamming is caused in the midway, a detecting portion 3 is pushed by a jammed sheet and moved to a position 3', and an interlocking transmission member 2 is turned on a shaft 16 to move a magnet 4 to a position 4'. るものにおいては装置の点検中に容易に触れてしまうた
め簡単に起動されてしまう危険があシ安全規格上重大な
欠点を有しているものである。また、マイクロスイッチ
の代わシに反射形光域スイッチ等を使用する場合にはそ
れ自体高価なものであシ、さらに長期間使用によシ検出
面が汚損することが生じ、そのために動作不良という欠
点も有するものであったO そこで、本発明はこれらの欠点に鑑みて改良された新規
な検出装置を提供することを目的とするものである。
