PURPOSE:To prepare a cabbage roll having improved nutritive value, by wrapping the stuffing with a cabbage leaf and then with a thin-sliced bacon, and binding the bacon with a strip of KANPYO (dried gourd shavings). CONSTITUTION:A cabbage roll 1 is prepared by wrapping the stuffing 1a obtained by mixing minced raw chicken, pork or beef meat with finely cut onion or other vegetables and seasonings, with a cabbage leaf moderately softened by immersing in a hot water. The circumference of the cabbage roll 1 is wrapped with a thin bacon sheet 2 sliced to a proper thickness. A strip of KANPYO 3 is wound around the wrapped bacon 2, and tied at the both ends. A cabbage roll having improved nutritive and commercial values can be obtained thereby.

に止めである。従って人が食べるとき、誤って先の尖っ
た楊枝がロールキャベツと一緒に口の中に入9込む可能
性がま\あり、はなはだ危険であると共にスープで煮込
んだ時に楊枝が抜けたり葉が破れて開き中身が出て形く
ずれし易く1又中身・をキャベツの葉で被包しただけで
は外観的に味気ないものであり、且つ栄養価及び香味の
点においても必ずしも満足すべきものでなかった。
