Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a speaker system having characteristics suited to its installing conditions, by attaching rotatably the baffle plate of a speaker box to a sub-baffle plate and therefore changing easily the position of a speaker for medium and high bands having intensive directivity. CONSTITUTION:A squawker 4 and a tweeter 5 are attached to a circular sub- baffle plate 6, and the plate 6 is attached rotatably to an attachment hole 2a formed to a baffle plate 2. Therefore both the squawker 4 and the tweeter 5 can be set orthogonally to the longer direction of a speaker box 1 by turning the plate 6 by 90 deg.. In this case, it is possible to fix the plate 6 with an optional angle of rotation, and therefore the arrangement can be set with an optional angle for the squawker 4 and tweeter 5. As a result, the reproducing characteristics can be improved just by turning the plate 6 by a prescribed angle in case said characteristics are deteriorated due to the installing state of the box 1.
