Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a laminated sheet without breaking the seaming part by a method wherein a hot melt adhesive is put between the skin and the wading of the laminated sheet composed of skin, wading and backer, and those three materials are molded to have guilted effect with high-frequency fusion of them. CONSTITUTION:When the skin member A of seat for car is formed from the laminate body united in a body from the 3 materials of the skin 1, the flat sheet wading 2 made from foamed material and the backer 3, either one of the skin 1 or the wading 2 is preliminarily coated with the hot melt adhesive 4, and the skin 1, the wading 2 and the backer 3 are stacked up in the order of skin, wading and backer under a condition wherein the hot melt adhesive 4 exists between the skin 1 and the wading 2. Thereafter, they are bonded with high frequency fusion by causing high-frequency electrode in contact with them to have guilted effect.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of forming a skin member for a vehicle seat, in which the skin, foamed wadding, and lining fabric are stacked and sewn together to form the three members into one body.

Conventionally, the outer skin, wadding, and lining fabric have been integrally formed by sewing as described above. Therefore, in order to form the sewing thread during the sewing process, it is necessary to accurately sew and thread it in a predetermined position, and also to prevent the sewing thread from fraying, resulting in a problem that the workability is extremely poor. In addition, since each component is independent in the parts other than the sewing N part, the load is concentrated on the sewing part, and there is a risk that the sewing thread will break after long-term use.

Therefore, the present invention aims to eliminate such defects of conventional products, and its basic structure is to fuse the outer skin, wadding, and lining fabric together by high-frequency welding to create quilting. It is characterized by forming the pattern and simultaneously bonding the skin and wadding together via a hot melt adhesive. Therefore, since the formation of the quilting pattern and the adhesion of the skin can be performed simultaneously, the workability is significantly improved compared to the conventional method, the quality is constant, and the generation of wrinkles can be completely prevented.
