現在国鉄或は私鉄におーて保騨作秦として行うレール交
換により多量の重量古レールが発生しているがその殆ん
どが溶解用ス、タラップとして廃棄されている。レール
のような特殊鋼材を溶解原料とするの紘資灘の面から見
て1無駄なことであ抄、再生することによ抄同一材質の
レール又はI形鋼を溶解精練することなしに簡革に製造

数をラインLの始端部のものから順次終端に行くに従っ
て増加し、赤熱レール2の圧延による移動速度の変化に
順応させることができる。上下面圧延p−ル3、7の圧
延は最終圧延刺品レール11 (第6図参照)の高さに
圧延し各組の圧延ロール4.4′は第2図に示すように
ほぼレールの断面形状をなし或は第4図に示すように工
形鋼の断面形状でも良い。そして各組の圧延は順次レー
ルの両@向rのみを圧延することによって最終圧延形状
を第6図実線で示すようにし或は同第6図に示すレール
11と単位重量はぼ同一の工形鋼(プカール)となして
も差支えない0尚図中12で示すものは加熱炉、13は
歪み曲9等を最終的に矯正するための矯正ロールである
