    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 透明基板上に光透過性導電膜、アモルファスシリコン膜
    および金属電極膜を順次積層してなる、アモルファスシ
    リコンの光導電特性を利用したエンコーダ用光検出素子
    において、前記透明基板における前記光透過性導電膜と
    の間、もしくは他方の面に、光入射窓部を残して光非透
    過膜からなる遮光マスクを設けたことを特徴とする光検
    出素子。
