Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a comparison between the clocked time and display time of a clocking device and to make both times coincident with each other all the time by providing a detecting element at every other time indication position and putting the detecting element in operation through an operating element which is operatively associated with a pointer to rotate. CONSTITUTION:When the pointer 25 indicates 0, 2, 4... minutes, reed switches 23 at respective indication positions are opened and when the pointer indicates 1, 3, 5... minutes, reed switches 23 at indication positions of (0, 2), (2, 4)... minutes are opened. For this purpose, detectors 10 and 11 are provided to the minute hand 6 and hour hand 7 of a subordinate timepiece 5 and their outputs are converted into time data, which are stored in registers 14 and 15 respectively. Minute and hour time data from a master timepiece 1, on the other hand, are supplied to registers 4 and 3 respectively. Ontputs of the registers 3 and 4, and 14 and 15 are compared mutually by comparing devices 16 and 17 to drive driving devices 8 and 9 on the basis of their comparison outputs, thereby displaying invariably accurate time.

Conventionally, for example, the majority of time adjustments in parent-child clocks have been either manual or adjusted to the hour using a time signal. However, the manual type has the disadvantage of requiring labor, and the time signal type has the disadvantage that if an error occurs due to disturbances immediately after the hour, the correction will not be effective for a long time until the next correction is made. There are drawbacks.

In addition, in any of the above methods, when starting the clock, it is necessary to adjust the display of each child clock to the time before starting the clock, which is also troublesome.

The signal is supplied to the register 15 in the figure. The indicated position of the one-way hand 7 is the same as above, with reed switches placed at the 0, 2, 4, 10 o'clock positions, and a permanent foundation stone fixed to the indicator hand fixed to the hour hand shaft. It is something to detect.

Next, the operation will be explained. Time data is generated serially from a master clock 1, converted into parallel data by a register 2, and minute data is supplied to a register 4, and hour data is supplied to a register 3. On the other hand, the minute hand 6 of the child clock 5 and the clock 7
The indicated position is detected by the detection device 10.11VC, and its output is sent to the conversion device 12. It is converted into time data by j5.

This time data is stored in register 14.15, and its output and the outputs of registers 3 and 4 are compared by comparator 16.17. For example, when the minute hand 6 is advancing, that is, when the contents of the register 4 are smaller than the contents of the register 15, the output of the comparator 17 causes the amplifier circuit 2 to
It is set so that an output is generated from 1, and this output causes the reversal fill of the drive device 8! /lA shift and the minute hand 6 is reversed. When the indicated position of the minute hand 6 is corrected, that is, when the contents of the register 15 match the contents of the register 4, the output of the comparator 17 is stopped and the minute hand 6 is stopped.

When the minute hand 6 is delayed, that is, when the contents of the register 4 are larger than the contents of the register 15, an output is generated from the amplifier circuit 20 by the output of the comparator 17, and the minute hand is caused by the forward rotation coil of the drive device 8. 6 is rotated forward and corrected. That is, in normal times, this operation is performed every time the contents of the register 4 are incremented by one minute, and the minute hand is incremented.

In addition, in the above 11th embodiment, the indicated position of the butterfly minute hand and the clock was detected, but since there is almost no error in the hour hand under normal conditions, the indicated position of only the minute hand may be detected. .

As described in detail above, according to the present invention, a detection element is provided at a designated position including one for detecting the displayed time, and when a working element faces this detection element, only that detection element is activated. Since the two detecting elements are activated when the actuating element is located between the two detecting elements, the number of detecting elements can be reduced, which is effective for miniaturization. Moreover, the accurate time is displayed under normal pressure, and even if the hands shift due to disturbances, etc., the time can be immediately corrected. Next, especially when used in a parent-child clock that drives a plurality of child clocks, there is no need to synchronize the display time of each child clock even when starting the device. Moreover, it is extremely effective in saving labor since it does not require any manual labor after startup.
