なる一対の電極を設け、上記電極の芯棒に耐熱性金属箔
の一端を溶接し、上記金属箔の他端に耐熱性金属よりな
る外部リード線を溶接し、上記石英管端をプレスシール
して上記金属箔部で気密シールする放電灯において、上
記電極芯棒のうちの少な（とも上記金属箔と重合する部
分を偏平に形成し、その側面部および先端部を略ナイフ
