Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the accuracy of conveyance by a sheet conveyor for a copier or the like and prevent oblique movement, by providing a circumferential recess on the central part of a barrel-shaped roller and fitting the roller with a belt whose suction openings are located on the recess. CONSTITUTION:The maximum-diameter peripheral surfaces of a driving and a driven rollers 103, 104a, 104b shaped as a barrel are knurled at 109a, 109b. A recess is provided between the knurled portions 109a, 109b. An endless belt 101 is put in pressure contact with the rollers 103, 104a, 104b so that the suction openings 102 of the belt are located between the knurled portions 109a, 109b. Since the openings 102 are hardly affected by the tension of the belt 101, the openings are protected from deformation. Since the elongation of the belt 101 is small, its elasticity can be reduced. As a result, a sheet is accurately conveyed and is kept from obliquely moving.

In a copying machine, a function is required to form a document image on a sheet such as copy paper and then transport the image to a fixing section without disturbing it, as shown in Figure 1. A device has been used in which openings 2 are formed at regular intervals on the center of such an endless belt 1, and the sheet S is suctioned thereon by suction means 15 and conveyed.

By the way, there is a requirement that the belt 1 must be held with a tension above a certain level in order to prevent sheet conveyance timing and skew, and therefore, the driving roller 3 that drives the endless belt 1 and the driven rollers 4m and 4b are used. As shown in Fig. 2, a drum-shaped roller with a medium-height body whose outer diameter is larger than the outer diameter of both ends is used, and this roller is designed to prevent coming together or coming off. In addition, the tension of the belt 1 is kept constant by applying a biasing force to the shaft of the driven motor 04b using a spring or the like.
- It is normal to maintain the same footing to ensure power transmission between the drive roller 3 and the belt 1. In particular, the outer peripheral surface of the maximum outer diameter of the first driving roller 3 is processed with a 9Ka roll to increase the friction between the driving roller 3 and the belt 1 in addition to the above-mentioned tension.

However, in the case of the 1-taiko-shaped professional belt, as shown in Fig. 3, the center zone 14 of the belt that is in contact with the maximum outer diameter outer circumferential surface 9#/c (the belt-shaped belt extending from the contact area between the maximum outer diameter outer circumferential surface and the belt in the belt conveyance direction) Because there is always a large tension near the
As shown in FIG. 4, a round hole deforms into an elongated hole, and a concentrated tensile force acts on the periphery of the hole, causing cracks and causing the entire belt to stretch. In the case of a belt 1, the displacement of the driven roller 4b due to the elongation of the belt 1 weakens the biasing force of the spring 6], which significantly reduces the frictional force between the driving roller 03 and the bell) 1, causing slippage. However, the above-mentioned sheet conveying device cannot reliably convey the sheet with normal tying, and may also have the disadvantage of being obliquely conveyed.

In a belt conveying device having a W14Fi, Pel F, and a roller on which the belt is hung, the belt deviates from the high tension region of the belt, which occurs in correspondence with the maximum outer diameter of the roller to which the belt rotates eastward. 4 having an opening
The gist of the present invention is to provide a belt conveying device in which a plurality of belts each having a plurality of O openings formed at a distance in the rotating direction Ka are installed over a plurality of O rollers. The roller has a shape with a center height, and is provided with a circumferential recessed part in the center of the center height, and the opening of the belt that is wound around the roller is the same as that of the skeleton roller. A belt conveying device is characterized in that it is configured to be located above an opening of a recessed portion.

The characteristics of this example are as shown in FIG.
In contrast, a suction opening 102 is provided in a large area 101a sandwiched between the four grooves 111109m and 109b on the endless belt 101 that strongly contacts the endless belt 101.

According to such a configuration, the tension #1 (in the direction indicated by the arrow in the figure) acting on the belt at the opening #c#i hardly acts, and therefore the elongation due to deformation is slight, and the belt Since the elongation is extremely small, belts with high elasticity can also be used.

In addition, the suction opening 112Fi faces the elongated hole 110 of the endless belt 101 in the sheet conveyance section, and a separately provided suction means 115 draws the sheet onto the endless belt 101 through the elongated hole 110. This is for suctioning and transporting.

In other words, in the above application example, the opening of the belt is not located at a position corresponding to the maximum outer diameter of the drum-shaped roller.
The tension of the belt does not strongly act on the opening, and its deformation is slight. Therefore, the total amount of elongation of the endless belt is extremely small, and the original spring biasing force acting on the driven roller can be maintained at an almost unchanged biasing force, making it possible to prevent slippage between the endless belt and the driving roller. Not only can the sheet be conveyed reliably and in a timely manner over a long period of time, but also the above-mentioned biasing has the effect that it is not necessary to make the elastic region so large.

Even with such a configuration, it is substantially the same as that in which the maximum diameter portion of the medium-high cup is formed, and the same effects as in the above embodiment can be obtained.

Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, only the drum-shaped rollers have been described. However, this is not necessarily limited to drum-shaped rollers, and can be applied to belt conveying devices that use rollers other than so-called perfect cylindrical rollers, such as rollers that have a diameter difference in the outer peripheral area KIA corresponding to K (bell) K. Furthermore, the knurling surface is not limited to this, and it is sufficient that a smooth contact state with the belt can be obtained.

According to the present invention, since the belt has an opening that is offset from the high tension area of the Uayu belt that corresponds to the maximum outer diameter of the roller that rotates eastward, no tensile force is applied to the opening of the belt. It is extremely useful as it can prevent deformation and eliminate belt elongation.
