Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a diaphragm from being damaged on account of intrusion of dust by installing a member for preventing intrusion of dust into an atmospheric pressure chamber from outside, at the opening part into which an operating rod is freely inserted. CONSTITUTION:The opening/closing lever of a gate valve is operated in reciprocating turn, concurrently with rise/lowering of an operating rod 12. Accordingly, even if the operating rod 12 swings, preventive members 16 and 17 slide relatively to a case, in response to said swing, so operation of the operating rod 12 is not suppressed.
