Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the mixture of an external noise by providing elements to a body of revolution and another element to a still body, and by equipping a fixed mirror with a reflective surface which reflects a light beam to the photodetecting element without reference to the rotation position of the body of revolution. CONSTITUTION:A signal processing unit which includes a ring detector and a simultaneous counting circuit are provided on a rotary frame 21, which is supported on a base rotatably around a shaft 22. The shaft 22 and rotary frame 21 are turned by a motor 23 through gears 24 and 25. A body of revolution 13 is a thick disk and the end part of the shaft 22 is fixed; and three light emitting elements 11a-11c are provided at the circumference of the body 13 of revolution, and each light emitting element is arranged in the same plane to emit a light beam. A fixed mirror 14 has an semielliptic reflective surface, and the shaft 22 is placed at one focus point, thereby photodetecting light beams from light emitting elements 11a-11c by the photodetecting element 12 through the fixed mirror 14.
