CONSTITUTION:When the primary station M gives an any-polling, a main control section 1 receives line information from a system information section 3 via a main control connecting section 2 and gives the instruction of any-poll to a command forming section 4. The command forming section 4 transmits an any- polling signal to a line L via a parallel serial conversion section 5 and line connecting section 6 according to the instruction. Simultaneously, a time TM specific to a timer 7 is set to wait for the response from a response discrimination section 8. On the other hand, when a command/response discrimination section 11 discriminates the any-poll at the secondary section S, a timer 12 set to the time specific to the station itself is started, and if there is no station occupying the line L within this time, the response signal from a response forming section 13 is transmitted to the said primary station M via a line connection section 15.
