Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform gas galvanization of an elastomer product without reducing the strength of a carcass cord by a method wherein in case the elastomer product in a die is galvanized by supplying various kinds of galvanizing agents in sequence, a high pressure hot fluid is blown into the product at the time of termination of a gas process to thereby force the gas to be discharged from the product.
CONSTITUTION: A tire 4 is molded by being thrusted against the molding surfaces of a die comprising an upper die impression 1 and a lower die impression 2 due to the expansion of a bladder 3 and the various kinds of galvanizing agents are supplied and discharged in sequence through a go-pipe 9 and a return- pipe 10 which are arranged at a lower bladder ring 8. In this case, the high pressure hot fluid (e.g., steam of 10kg/cm2) is blown out into the bladder 3 (or the tire 4 in case no bladder is provided) for a proper time (e.g., thirty seconds) under the control of a timer at the time of termination of the gas process (for five minutes in the case of a tire of 175SR14 in size) to thereby force almost all the gas to be discharge from the tire.
