CONSTITUTION:An optical recording disk device consists of an optical recording disk 12 fitted to a rotary shaft 5 detachably, an arm 14 which is fitted rotatably in the center of the radius of curvature of the optical recording disk 12 through a fulcrum 13 and moves inward and outward on the surface of the disk 12, and an optical head 6 fitted atop of the arm 14. While tracking is per- formed through the driving of the arm 14, the optical recording disk 12 is rotated by the rotary shaft 5 at a constant speed to write and read data through the optical head 6.
