Abstract

PURPOSE:To absorb torque fluctuation sufficiently by interposing a friction clutch, which is pressed toward the direction of fastening with the movement of a coupler, between the coupler and a rotary member. CONSTITUTION:The increase of the torque caused by the revolution of No.1 rotary member, 1, moves a coupler 3 backward, producing a relative rotation between the coupler 3 and the rotary member 1, being guided by a cam 6, and resisting spring force of a spring 4. This relative rotation, a damping effect due to the spring 4, and another daming effect due to the oil flow through an orifice 16 caused by a volume decrease in an oil pressure chamber 15, absorb abrupt torque fluctuation. Another relative rotation due to the slip of a friction clutch 9 is produced between the coupler 3 and No.2 revolving member 2, which also provides a damping effect to the torque fluctuation.
