Abstract
PURPOSE:To constitute this display device so that each light beam is distributed almost uniformly in each prescribed area within a residual image time of human eyes, and in this way, an observer can move his head, by providing an optical axis moving means in the optical path between the right and left picture sources and the observer's eyes. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 8 being an optical axis moving means is provided between image receiving tubes 1, 2 and eyes 5, 7 of an observer 4, and this reflector vibrates around a rotary axis 9 within a range as indicated with an arrow C. When this vibration speed is set suitably so that a moving speed of the optical aixs becomes fast enough against the residual image time of human eyes, light beams from the image receiving images 1, 2 can be distributed uniformly within a range as indicated with an arrow D, and accordingly the observer 4 can watch a picture even if he moves his head to same extent between a position P and Q shown by a virtual line.
