Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a reflecting article in which glass balls are regularly arranged, by spraying the glass balls onto a weak adhesive-applied sheet, further bonding a reflector to the sheet through a potent adhesive layer, and then removing the sheet and the weak adhesive layer.
CONSTITUTION: An unstickable weak adhesive 1 is applied to a sheet material 2, and fine transparent balls 3, 3' of inorganic glass are sprayed onto the adhesive- applied sheet. Thereafter, potent-adhesive transparent paint 4 is further applied to the treated sheet by a thickness determined by taking into consideration the returning reflectivity and then dried. A reflector 5 having a rugged lower surface corresponding to the rugged surface of the transparent paint layer is then laminated on the paint layer. Finally, the sheet material and the weak adhesive 1 layer are removed. Consequently, the rugged surface formed by the glass balls 3, 3' is relatively smooth, so that a recursive reflecting article having a good surface appearance and resistant to accumulation of dusts can be produced.
