Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute a changeover, by selectively fixing automatic and manual focus adusting members, in a lens capable of focusing automatically by a detecting means and a driving means which are provided on a camera. CONSTITUTION:A lens barrel is constituted of a holding tube 25 for mounting a lens, a base tube 21 fixed by the mount part, an interlocking member 23 which is turned by a camera side driving mechanism between both the tubes, a focusing operation member 20 and a unified intermediate member 26. In case of automatic focusing operation, a pin 29 is engaged to a detaining part 21d of the base tube, the focusing operation member 20 is fixed, and as the interlocking member 23 turns, a pin 31 and also the holding tube move back and forth. When the operation member is turned in the direction as indicated with an arrow B by depressing the pin 29, the mechanism of the camera side is hot operated, also a pin 32 is caught by a groove 21f2, and the interlocking member is fixed. On the other hand, when the operation member turns, it is transferred to the holding tube 25 since the pin 31 is fitted into a groove 26a1.
