PREPARATION: 2,7-Diamino-9-fluorenone of formula II is diazotized with sodium nitrite in a dilute inorg. acid soln. to form a tetrazonium salt of formula III, wherein X is an anionic functional group, which is then reacted with 2-hydroxy- 3-(4-fluorophenylcarbamoyl)-naphthalene of formula IV.
