Abstract

PURPOSE:To reliably measure a grease amount, by a method wherein a skin grease is adhered in order on a coarse surface of a transfer tape divided into very small areas to detect the grease amount by means of an optical system. CONSTITUTION:A skin grease is ashered to a coarse surface of a transparent tape in which at least one side surface is roughened, and a light, transmitted through or reflected by said grease-adhering part, is detected for the measurement of a grease amount. At least one of a projector 12, a light-receiving part 14, and the transfer tape 10 is positioned movably so that each part of the adhering surface of the transfer tape 10 can be measured in turn at intervals of a given time. Additionally, a device is provided with a measurement control circuit 23 which outputs an operating signal for moving said moving device and a sampling signal at intervals of a given time, a measurement circuit 24 for measuring a transmission or reflection light amount, a memory circuit 25 for storing in order the measurements, an operation circuit 26 for the information conveyance, e.g., the transmission of an indication signal to an information conveying part 29 for the indication of a grease amount, and a drive circuit 27.
