Abstract

PURPOSE:To unload a cassette tape from an ejecting mechanism by separating a head and a pinch roller from a tape by moving a head base back only by operating an ejection lever even during a power failure, by operating the ejecting mechanism mechanically. CONSTITUTION:When an ejection button 40b provided atop of an ejection lever 40 is pushed, a lock pin 40c separates from the engagement cam part 60a of a slider 60 to move a head base 2 back to an ejection position. According to the movement of the slider 60, a sub-ejection lever 40 is turned and its hook part 42a separates from the engagement piece 44a of a cassette holder 44. When the hook part 42a is unhooked from the engagement piece 44a, the roller 44d of the cassette holder 44 pushes the rear end surface of the slider 60 by a torsion spring 44b to hold the slider 60 in its original state.
