Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the on-line monitor even for a sequence controller having no interruption function without discontinuing the scanning action, by providing a buffer memory which has the capacity same as or larger than that of the memory. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 30 recognizes that the keys are pushed for reading, retrieval and monitor, respectively, and transfers all the sequence programs stored in a memory 40 of a sequence controller SC to a buffer memory 32 via gates GA1, GD1 and G4. The memory 32 to which a sequence program and the on/off signal are transferred is properly read by an instruction of the computer 30. Then the monitor process is carried out for the retrieval of an instruction word, etc. Thus the monitoring is possible without discontinuing the scanning of the memory 40 although the controller SC has no interruption function.
