CONSTITUTION:When recorded on a tape, an audio signal and a data signal mixed by a mixer 4 are amplified by a head amplifier 6 and then recorded by a magnetic head 7. The data signal is one obtained by modulating a 4,800Hz carrier by a digital signal from a microcomputer MCOM3. In the reproduction of a recorded tape, the audio signal and data signal recorded on the tape while mixed together are reproduced by the magnetic head 7 and then amplified by a head amplifier 10 and a <=3kHz audio signal passes through an LPF11 and is amplified by an amplifier 12 to drive a speaker 13. Then, the >=3kHz signal of the output of the head amplifier 10 passes through an HPF15 and is supplied to an interface 15 to be converted into a digital signal, which is supplied to the MCOM3.
