Abstract
PURPOSE: To economically construct a cut-off wall of uniform structure by a method in which bentonite liquid for excavating a trench is separated from soil and sand for recovery and then mixed with cement, and the mixture liquid is supplied to the excavated trench so as to replace a grout and also to solidify.
CONSTITUTION: A bentonite liquid is supplied through a silo 32 and a quantitative supplier 64 to a continuous injection mixer 30 and also water is supplied through a hose 34 and a quantitative supply pump 66 to the injection mixer 30, where they are mixed together and supplied through a tank 36 and a pump 38 to a tank 10. The bentonite stabilization liquid is put through a sand pump 12 and a hose 14 into an excavated trench 16 and recovered with excavated soil and sand through a reverse hose 20 and suction pump 22. And, soil and sand separated from the bentonite by a soil and sand separator 26 are discarded by a container 28. Then, an admixture, e.g., cement, etc., is sent from a silo 44 and mixed with bentonite in a mixer 30, and the mixture liquid thus obtained is supplied through a tank 46 and an injection pump 48 to the bottom of the trench 16. Whereupon, the stabilizer in the upper part is pushed up by the mixture liquid and replaced, but the stabilizer liquid is not mixed with the mixture liquid even when the difference between their specific gravities is slight.
