Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable continuous running of a tape with two sets of tape driving mechanisms, by switching motors for the 1st and 2nd tape driving mechanism to on-state through respective series switchs in response to a playback button. CONSTITUTION:When a playback button is operated, a playback lever is locked, a switch S1 is closed in response to this playback lever and a motor M1 for the 1st tape driving mechanism 2 turns on for playback state. When the lock of playback lever is released in response to the detection of end of tape, the switch S1 is restored and the supply of current to the motor M1 is interrupted for stop state. A switch S3 is connected to a contact A in interlocking with the switch S1, and power is applied to a motor M2 of a mechanism 3, when the playback button of the mechanism 3 is operated and a switch S2 in series with the switch S1 is similarly changed over. Thus, with simple constitution, the continuous playback by tape continuous running of two sets of tape driving mechanisms can be made.
