Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a tube with socket simply, by a method wherein the end of a tube is covered by a non-hardened short tube with inner diameter larger than outer diameter of the tube for forming a socket, the covered part is tightened from outside and inner circumferential surface is closely contacted with outer circumferential surface of end of the tube, and then the non-hardened tube is hardened. CONSTITUTION:End of a tube 1 of fiber reinforced resin is attached to small diameter part 41 of a core mold 4 so that end surface of the tube 1 is contacted with stepped part 42 of the core mold 4. A core tube 3, which is internally attached to one end of a non-hardened short tube 2 with inner diameter larger than outer diameter of the tube 1 for forming a socket, is attached to larger diameter part 43 of the core mold 4. End of the tube 1 is covered by the short tube 2 at end without internal attaching of the core tube 3. The non-hardened short tube 2 is tightened at part without internal attaching of the core tube 3 from outside by a tightening band 5 and inner circumferential surface of the band 5 is closely contacted with outer circumferential surface of the tube 1, and then the non-hardened tube 2 is hardened and the core mold 4 and the tightening band 5 are removed, thereby a tube with socket is obtained.
