Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a splasher wherein the mounting operation and the adjustment of the mounting angle can be carried out with ease, by projecting one end of a rectifying metal lever bendably from an upper end of the outer zone of a mudguard, and providing an attaching base to said projection. CONSTITUTION:A splash stopping plate 1 is made of a flexible material such as rubber, and the shape thereof is adapted to the part of the wheel to be covered. The rectifying metal lever 6 is attached to the upper end of the splash stopping plate 1, which metal lever 6 is curved to have approximately the same shape as the upper part of the splash stopping plate 1, and has the end 6a that is longer than the upper part of the splash stopping plate 1. The metal lever 6 is made of a material that can be bendable to any direction, and the end 6a has the attaching base 12 secured thereto by welding or the like. The splasher can be attached to a body by bolts through through-holes 11, 15.
